Wayne G. Travell leads the firm's Business Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practices. He has tried dozens of cases and argued appeals in the state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. An experienced mediator, he has also tried numerous arbitration cases before the American Arbitration Association, JAMS/Endispute and private arbitration panels.

For the past 25 years, Mr. Travell has represented business enterprises, and counseled their owners and executives in a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiations, employment and business disputes, business torts, contract enforcement, real estate development and contract disputes, corporate governance controversies, creditors’ rights claims, and landlord-tenant disputes. Mr. Travell also regularly serves as local counsel for out of state firms in litigation matters in the U.S. District Courts and state courts in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
